Joint SIG Networking and Holiday Celebration

When: Tuesday, December 9th 2007, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Why: Enjoy food, fun, and fellowship and networking

What to bring:

• Your favorite finger food/appetizer/dessert/etc.
• A wrapped $1 gift or “White Elephant” for the continuous exchange.
  (A prize will be given to the person who brings the gift voted to be “the best” by those attending.)

Where: OsteoMed LP 3885 Arapaho Road, Addison, TX 75001

Directions and Map: From Beltline Road, turn North on Commercial Drive (between Marsh and Midway) and go one block. The building will be right in front of you. Cross Arapaho to enter the parking lot.
(Caution: some maps call Arapaho Road by the name Realty Road)
Someone will be at the door to let you enter.

Microwave is available. Hot dishes require hot pads or mats to protect table.

Drinks, ice, plates, napkins, forks and cups will be provided.

For last minute items, Kroger and a dollar store are on the south side of Belt Line Road east of Marsh Road, very close to OsteoMed. Look forward to seeing you there!

Audit SIG 

The Audit SIG meets the second Tuesday of each month.
The Audit SIG provides a venue for developing an understanding of various auditing skills and techniques. Speakers provide insight into audit methodologies that include subjects like preparation, evidence collection and people skills. From this, participants are able to broaden their knowledge of auditing and leave with techniques that can be applied both for internal and external audits.

We are currently working towards starting up the ISO 9000 SIG again. We need a volunteer to chair this group and we are also looking for officer volunteers.
