DINNER TOPIC: Quality Through the Eyes of Business

Prepare for a highly stimulating and interactive session with Robert Freeman, an "Edutainer," i.e., a specialist in the art of combining education with entertainment. Can management truly embrace system-based thinking?  Join us on the journey to operational effectiveness, as we begin to understand how system-based thinking works and where quality fits into this thought process. As the focus of this session is on achieving applied knowledge, Robert will drive us toward:

  • Understanding system-based thought or "The Big Picture".
  • Discerning management's current position as it relates to management systems within the organization.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of current management systems.
  • Helping management transition to or enhance system-based thought.
  • Adapting to the necessary skills and attitude for driving system-based performance.

Along the way, we will be focusing on the necessary skills and attitude needed to help management drive towards system-based performance.

TUTORIAL TOPIC: The Integrated Mangement System

Robert Freeman, CEO (chief edutainment officer) of Practical Perspectives will guide you through the maze of standards, tools, and other such mechanism to drive quality and overall organizational performance.  Whether you have a well established management system or are just getting started, Robert will use real world examples to help all participants understand:

  • How to identify the structure needed to establish the management system platform.
  • When and how to introduce tools to support the management system.
  • How to facilitate the transition to an integrated management system.

Along the way, we will also talk about how to get management's buy-in or a renewed commitment to an integrated management system.
