Chair's Message - Frederick Martin - September, 2009
Hello ASQ Dallas Section members.
Well the summer vacations season is over. The school year has started and finally football season is here. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and I am a Big Longhorn Fan. Our oldest daughter Amanda is also a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, we are extremely proud of her; she received a 4.0 GPA the last spring semester and she will be graduating May 2010. Amanda is a previous winner of the ASQ Dallas Chapter Scholarships. If you are an active member of ASQ Dallas Chapter you or your children could also be a scholarship candidate. They say children are our best investment, and we at ASQ believe in investing in our members. Please contact our Scholarship Chair, Seshagiri Pabbisetty (svpabbisetty@yahoo.com) concerning applications for ASQ scholarships.
The University of Texas has a rich tradition of excellence which is often depicted by the performance of the Longhorn Football Team.
The picture below shows Amanda and I experiencing last year’s victory of Texas over OU.
