Training Vendors Needed
The Dallas Section is looking at different ways to improve the variety, frequency, quality, and value of the certification prep classes offered to members, and is currently accepting proposals from members and vendors, who might be interested in partnering with the section to provide the required training. Dr. Darin Eich, co-founder of BrainReactions & Innovation Training will present on "The Front End of Innovation: Innovating with Systematic Idea Generation.

Do you utilize a variety of approaches for generating ideas from a variety of stakeholders? Individuals, groups, and organizations can benefit from a system that develops more and better ideas and each entity can learn and apply activities to help them innovate. This webinar will give you an overview of systematic idea generation for the purposes of helping you to increase the quantity and quality of ideas that individuals and groups can produce for a variety of purposes. These purposes are usually new product or service development, organizational improvement, communication, or problem solving.
Darin Eich is an innovation facilitator, researcher, and author who teaches individuals and organizations how to better ideate to innovate. Darin has facilitated innovation projects for many organizations including P&G and the United Nations. Lately he has been teaching innovation through online workshops featured on InnovationTraining.org. Darin has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Darin has also been a graduate student and developer of leadership programs at the University of Maryland and College of William and Mary.

November PD
The November PD meeting is on the THIRD Thursday in November, so we can all enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. The dinner meeting/tutorial will be presented by Gwen Smith-Ishmael. Tim Parrent leads the tutorial with an introduction to ASQ Divisions - ASQ Food, Drug and Cosmetic Division.
