Audit & ISO SIG
The Audit & ISO SIGs meet on the second Tuesday of each month.
There will be a special topic specifically related to ISO every quarter. The Audit & ISO SIGs provide a venue for developing an understanding of various auditing skills and techniques. Speakers provide insight into audit methodologies that include subjects like preparation, evidence collection and people skills. From this, participants are able to broaden their knowledge of auditing and leave with techniques that can be applied both for internal and external audits.

Topic: Why ISO?
Speaker: Gerry Sherman. Gerry Sherman has a Bachelor of Industrial Technology with a major in Quality assurance from the University of Idaho. He carries certifications in Management, Engineering, Auditing, Inspection, and as a Quality Technician from ASQ. Gerry also has a Lead Assessor certification from RABQSA. He has over 47 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, service, and education. Gerry currently acts as the General Manager of Makor Management, LLC which provides training and consulting in quality, quality management, and quality related tools. He has aided in developing and implementing hundreds of quality management systems as well as training thousands of people in areas of audit, management, statistics, quality management systems and the ISO standards.
