Nominations Announcement – Officers for 2011 Fiscal Year
In accordance with the Section Operating Agreement for Section 1402, nominations are now underway for the positions of Chair-elect, Secretary and Treasurer for the 2010-2011 ASQ fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010.
The Nominating Committee will begin considering candidates to be nominated for these positions. Nominations from the general section membership require the submission of a nomination petition to the section secretary prior to January 11, 2010. The petition must contain 10 signatures from Regular/Senior/Fellow Members in good standing.

ASQ President presenting at January PD Meeting
Peter Andres, the current ASQ President will be presenting at the Dallas ASQ PD meeting on January 28, 2010. Mr. Andres will be presenting on the topic "Making the Case for Quality."
The January PD meeting will include a presentation on what the the Customer & Supplier, Electronics & Communication, and Lean Enterprise Divisions can offer you. Additionally, there will be a tutorial: "Taking Meetings From Boring to Productive." Learn some hard meeting leadership skills and stop wasting valuable time.

Survey Help Needed for Doctoral Dissertaion
Herzl Marouni, an ASQ Senior Member, is requesting the help of ASQ Dallas members. The purposes of this study are to gain knowledge of the perceived value of TQM on project success, and to identify potential reasons for the limited use of the ISO 10006:2003 standard in project management and success.
